The 2017/18 intake of the Aberdeen Law Project completed training this week, and will be joining their sectors and projects next Tuesday.
Competition for places was particularly tough this year, with two applications for every place available. The training was organised by Head of Admissions Beth, with support from her Deputy Jonathan. External training was provided by Malcolm Combe, who kindly offered his insight on 'Standards, Conduct, Confidentiality and Ethics'. Following this, successful applicants had to complete a short exam to test their knowledge on these key issues.
The academia was supplemented by a social event organised by Head of Events Randy. This proved successful at bonding new and old members alike.
Best of luck to all new members in their efforts this year as they spur on the work of the Aberdeen Law Project, and invigorate it with new ideas.
