Mr David Ridley

CORPORATE PARTNER AT WOMBLE BOND DICKSON (UK) LLP

Mr David Ridley graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2014 with an LLB (Hons) and, in the following year, a Diploma in Legal Practice. During his time at the University, Mr Ridley led ALP's Representation team, and successfully represented a number of people in the local community with Housing, Consumer and Employment issues. Most notably during his time at ALP, Mr Ridley represented the claimant in Cross v Aberdeen Property Leasing 2014 SLT (Sh Ct) 46, which proved that the charging of administration fees to tenants in Scotland constituted an illegal premium.

At Womble Bond Dickinson, Mr Ridley advises clients across a number of sectors on corporate transactional work, predominantly focusing on mergers & acquisitions and investments. Mr Ridley is particularly familiar working with private equity firms and with managers of businesses looking to secure private equity investment. He frequently works on cross border transactions alongside colleagues within Womble Bond Dickinson (US).
