The Aberdeen Law Project to open admission on 10 September

The Aberdeen Law Project is pleased to confirm that its first applicant event for 2019/20 admissions will be held on 10 September, with applications opening the same day.

Following an extremely fruitful year, which marked the beginning of ALP’s partnership with the SSSC and saw the Project expand its services to Inverness, first and second year LLB law students at the University of Aberdeen will have an opportunity to apply for a place in our award-winning Project.

Student Director, Martyna Proczek, said: “The admissions process is an extremely important time of the year for us. ALP is made up of the brightest and most able students and I am excited to open applications for 2019/20 on 10 September. Every year the competition for a place increases and I am delighted to see how passionate new and returning LLB students are about pro bono.”

We would encourage prospective applicants to keep an eye out on the ALP website and social media to see the kind of work we have been involved in and for more information about the application process. As Martyna notes, “we’ve done such a tremendous amount of work over the last decade but I think we’ve been a bit too modest about it – from now on we’re going to share those successes so that those in the access to justice gap can see the difference we have made and can make .”
