The Aberdeen Law Project is pleased to announce that past Student Director Jonathan Goodyear has accepted an invitation to join the Project’s board.
Jonathan Goodyear has completed his term as student director and will step down ahead of the new academic year. We are delighted that he has accepted Anna Robertson’s invitation to join the Project’s board.
Anna Robertson, Chair of the board, said: “Jonathan Goodyear (Student Director 2019-2020) has proven himself to be a diligent and passionate Student Director. In recognition of Jonathan’s work on behalf of the Project, I am delighted to confirm that he will join the Board of the Aberdeen Law Project with immediate effect.”
Adam Davies, Deputy Chair of the board, added: “Jonathan has long been a dedicated member of the ALP team and his passion for the Project is really impressive. I’m glad he’ll be staying on to help support the project as a board member.”
Jonathan Goodyear said: “Membership of the Aberdeen Law Project has been one of the defining experiences of my time at the University of Aberdeen. It has proved to be a fantastic place to meet people, develop skills and – most importantly – to help people across Aberdeen and beyond. I am enormously proud to have been part of the Project’s work and to have led the charge over the last year. It is a particular privilege to have been invited to join the Project’s board and I very much look forward to continuing to be involved in that role.”
