The Aberdeen Law Project is pleased to confirm that its first applicant event for 2019/20 admissions will be held on 10 September, with applications opening the same day.

Raoul Rosca and Rebecca McAvoy, both part of organising and running our Potter-themed mock trials initiative, were interviewed by That’s TV Scotland North on the successes of the programme across Aberdeen’s primary schools.

The Aberdeen Law Project is delighted to announce the promotion of Martyna Proczek to the position of Student Director.

On Tuesday 19 March, our Charities and Commerce Sector hosted an event aimed at raising awareness of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). The event was very well attended by students and those within the local community who were keen to gain a better understanding of ACEs, the way they impact on individuals who have suffered trauma and what can be done to help mitigate the negative outcomes.

We are delighted to announce that our application for the Common Good Fund has been successful. The funds will be used to continue closing the access to justice gap in Aberdeen by expanding our Language Barrier Initiative.

The Aberdeen Law Project is delighted to confirm the appointment of two new Deputy Student Directors; Robyn Canning and Lewis Campbell.

Martyn Ross, a much loved member of the Aberdeen Law Project family, has passed away at the age of 25. He will be very sorely missed.

The Aberdeen Law Project was delighted to welcome Mr Tom Wood, Former Deputy Chief Constable of Lothian and Borders Police, to speak at the university on the 30th January. Mr Wood was invited to talk on the World’s End Murders investigation, which he led.
